THE COURSES
We are experienced in teaching and business training. Our emphasis is on spoken English, using modern teaching techniques supplemented by audio-visual aids. We are a friendly family partnership whose interest is in the student as an individual. The courses, which are run in small groups, are designed for anyone interested in improving their present standard of English. These include General English Courses for adults or students studying for exams and Holiday Courses for younger students. All courses are for a minimum of one weeks duration, commencing each Monday. We strongly recommend that students register for two or more weeks in order to gain the maximum benefit from their stay. Holiday Courses are for 3 weeks.

Objectives: Our aim is that you gain the maximum benefit from your stay by being totally immersed in the English language. We will assess your English level when you arrive and develop your abilities from your starting point. We offer a high level of teaching to aid you in learning everyday English and to use it in real life situations.

Fee Schedule:

General Course - 15 hours

• The course fee is £299 a week and includes your family accommodation, all your meals, your lessons, materials and use of books.
• Course materials £30 first set on arrival. New set required every 8 weeks.

Exam Course - 15 hours

• The course fee is £299 a week and includes your family accommodation, all your meals, your lessons, materials and use of books.
• Cambridge Exam Fee £95, charged at cost.
• Course materials £30.

Holiday Course - 15 hours + activities and excursions

• The course fee is £399 a week and includes your family accommodation in our home, all your meals, your lessons, materials and use of books, activity and excursion programme.

One-to-One Course - 25 hours

• The course fee is £699 a week and includes your family accommodation, all your meals, your lessons, materials and use of books.

Additional fees or hidden costs:
UK Bank Charges

• Logos Linguistics cannot accept responsibility for bank charges. These are charged at cost.
• Send your SWIFT payment from a bank, which has a direct link with a UK bank / HSBC Bank for the minimum charge.
• Banks that use CHAPS, have a higher bank charge.

Optional fees
Taxi Transfer Service from the airport:

• Transfer service from Heathrow Airport to Canterbury and return £170
• Transfer service from Stansted Airport to Canterbury and return £165
• Transfer service from Gatwick Airport to Canterbury and return £135
• Where possible, when 2 or more students come together, on the same flight, we will try to link them together, and so reduce your costs.

Chaperone Service for students under 17:

• Returning home there is a £30 supplement for “Skyflyers” waiting time at the airport with the chaperone.

Payment of school fees and cancellation policy:

• A place will be offered to you and the dates confirmed. 4 weeks before the course starts the school fees are due. Cancellations must be made in writing to Logos Linguistics at least 28 days before the commencement of the course. Return of school fees will be at the discretion of the school.
