EXAM COURSES

Cambridge First Certificate Exam: 12 weeks available on request.
Students need a good level of English as this exam tests both language ability and speed in Reading, Writing, Use of English, Listening and speaking. We have an excellent success rate with many passes at A or B grade.

• 15 hours of lessons a week, 3 hours each morning.
• Lessons are in small groups, maximum class size six, usually four or five
• Lessons are taken within our family home, this means individual attention.
• Lunch is taken with us; chance to discuss topical issues.
• In the afternoon you have a guided study time: Friday afternoon is free.
• Communication skills and exam techniques.
• Transfer to the exam venue.
• The course fee is £299 a week and includes your family accommodation, all your meals, your lessons, textbook and use of study materials.
• Cambridge Exam Fee £95, charged at cost.
• Course materials £30.
• Internet connection for use with your own laptop is available for £5 a month extra. Adults only.

IELTS Exam: for entry to British University available on request.

• We have a selection of reading books, listening materials, student's internet connection to language websites, videos and DVD's.

• Orientation of the city.
• International evening at Global Café. Saturday evenings held in Oasis Café.
• Opportunity to enjoy the activities of New Life Church at the University of Kent.
• Informal preparation and help planning an excursion.

• A visit to a heritage site or visitor attraction. Eg. Leeds Castle, a day trip to London.
• Sports activities. Eg. The indoor swimming pool, the gym or cycle hire.
