Logos Linguistics is a unique personal experience for every student. We have a high expectation for everyone who comes here. We are more like an extended family than a school. Everyone is encouraged to speak English from the beginning.

Our mini groups and relaxed atmosphere provide the right environment for students to practise their language skills with confidence. We are able to get to know our students well. We keep in touch with many students who come back two or three times.

A typical day:
The morning starts with breakfast together followed by the arrival of students who are living with host families. Lively chatter gives way to the start of the lessons. You study with your tutor in a small group of up to 6. Each student works at his or her own ability level. Lessons are communicative and help is given on how you learn a language with practical help on how to use grammar and increase vocabulary. After a break for coffee and biscuits lessons continue until lunch.

At lunch time we sit down together and enjoy either a cooked meal or a picnic style lunch, indoors of course! Afternoons vary according to your chosen course. Our General and Exam courses are free to choose between private study using self-access or practical English by visiting the city to shop or use the Internet. It may be used to visit a place of interest or for those who enjoy sport there is a sports centre and an indoor heated swimming pool. Our Holiday Course has a timetabled programme of activities and excursions. Evenings are spent with your host family where you can continue to practise your English over dinner.
